IOL DELIVERY SYSTEM

Pull lens gently from the lens holder using a forceps with fine tips. Place the IOL into the cartridge that its loading zone has been coated completely with viscoelastic.

Using the lens loading forceps, the arm of the haptic folds over the optic as it is pushed down into the bases of the chamber.The trailing haptic is also folded over the top of the optic and the lens is advanced further into the cartridge.

Once in the pre-load position, the cartridge is placed into the NBT injector. The injector is ready for IOL delivery. Gently push the plunger forward and check regular and continuous forward movement of the lens.
